North of Lahaina and surrounded by condos and vacation rentals, Napili Beach is a white crescent-shaped swath of beach that runs along a turquoise bay. There’s a steep but gentle shore break great for bodysurfing and calm waters perfect for swimming and stand-up paddleboarding. And in the bay are coral formations and rock abutments that are teeming with marine life. It’s not uncommon to see Hawaiian green sea turtles here, too. While it’s not as spacious as Wailea or Kaanapali beaches, Napili has its own charm, making it popular with families, sunbathers, and anyone looking to just relax.
