Step back in time to the island’s historic plantation days at the Hotel Lanai, built in 1923 by James Dole as lodging for Dole Plantation executives.
It was the first and only hotel on Lanai until 1990, but still has 11 guest rooms and a restaurant, the Lanai City Grille.
The hotel has been renovated and the restaurant menu was redesigned by renowned Hawaii chef Bev Gannon, so you can still experience rustic charm in contemporary standards.
