Hanapepe

Affectionately called Kauai’s Biggest Little Town, Hanapepe is an old sugar plantation town on the South Shore west of Koloa.

Once one of the island’s largest and busiest towns, today it’s a charming neighborhood with art galleries, restaurants and boutiques, many in old plantation-style buildings.

Every Friday Hanepepe celebrates its art community with Art Night, when art galleries and restaurants stay open late for the folks who stroll down Hanapepe Road.
