Event Details

Whale Tales is Hawaii’s premier whale and dolphin research/education event.

Each year, world-renowned presenters come together on Maui to collaborate and share at this four-day affair. Maui residents and visitors hear first-hand what marine scientists are studying and discovering about the ocean and its inhabitants.

Attendees will hear about the latest in marine research from marine biologists and conservationists, scientists, photographers, filmmakers in presentations, whale watches, films and an educational art expo.

Presentations and the expo at The Ritz-Carlton are free and open to the public — a suggested $20 donation is encouraged.

Benefit whale watches tickets can be purchased.

For a detailed schedule of events, presentations, registration and tickets, visit the organization's website or call (808) 572-5700.
