It is literally William Shakespeare meets musical theatre, and features a rock-star like character, William Shakespeare. Something Rotten! opened on Broadway in March 2015 and closed nearly two years later in January 2017 after 742 performances.
With 10 Tony nominations, including Best Musical, Something Rotten! is a shamelessly silly parody of Broadway musicals and spoof of all things Shakespeare. Tickets: $15 - $35.
