Here’s a great culinary addition to your Hawaiian vacation. Sign yourself up for a cooking class with Chef Colin Sato and Pastry Chef Carmen Montejo with hands-on cooking demonstrations and step-by-step instruction and technique on preparing exquisite dishes and desserts.
On April 13, Chef Carmen Montejo will walk you through the prep of her Easter Bunny treats, including macarons and chocolate ganache. The afternoon tea will include chocolate tastings, desserts and beverage pairings.
Or spice up your day with Chef Colin Sato on May 11 for sausage tasting, along with chicken and andouille sausage gumbo, and various locally-made sausage demonstrations.
Lunch includes a salad, gumbo, and local style dirty rice, along with pairings by John Osorio and/or Ashley Chandler.
Masters of the Craft Cooking Classes take place from 12 noon to 2 p.m.
