Event Details

Step back in time to 1871. As Queen Emma and her entourage arrive on horseback, she is greeted by more than a dozen hula halau honoring her life and accomplishments.

Enjoy the beauty of Kokee, as the mountains echo with Hawaiian music and chant. Eo e Emalani I Alakai takes place on October 12, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kokee State Park.

Performances are not a competition, but rather a sharing of aloha.

Exhibits, crafts, a silent auction, and delicious food are featured at booths. Admission is free. Bring your own seating or blankets. No coolers.
