“The course of true love never did run smooth.” — true for Shakespeare, and also for Bollywood.
Shakespeare’s most popular comedy meets the high-energy, song and dance of Bollywood as magic rules the forest in India, and the mischievous Puck plays havoc with love lives as lovers, fairies, rude mechanicals, kings and queens come together in a spectacle of Shakespearean and Bollywood proportions.
The Theatre program at UH Manoa is renowned for its Asian theatre productions and course offerings, as well as programs in Western and Hawaiian theatre — acting, directing, history, design, and playwriting.
Coursework goes hand-in-hand with staged productions in the 600-seat Kennedy Theatre.
Tickets: $8 for UH Manoa students, up to $25 General admission.
