What to expect when
We're ready to welcome you back on board! As you prepare for your upcoming trip, here's what you need to know before you travel.
What to expect
Travel between the islands. You will need to complete the State of Hawai‘i Travel and Health form before entering TSA screening at the airport. Save time by printing and filling out the form at home. One form per traveler is required. Download the form.
Travel into Hawai‘i. Upon arriving, you will need to complete the mandatory 14-day self-isolation quarantine. The State of Hawai‘i has indicated that as of Aug. 1, 2020, you'll be able to forego the quarantine by taking a valid COVID-19 test no more than 72 hours prior to your flight and providing proof of a negative test result upon arrival. The mandatory quarantine will remain in place for those who choose to not take a pre-travel test. Learn more on the Hawai‘i Tourism Authority website.
Don't travel if you are sick. Your temperature will be checked at the airport and those with a fever will not be able to pass through the TSA security checkpoint.
Use the Hawaiian Airlines App. Use our app for a touchless check-in experience. Download our app.
Our boarding process has changed. We have adjusted our boarding process temporarily to minimize contact. We will be boarding by row from the rear of the aircraft to the front. First Class guests can board at any time.
Bring your face mask. Face masks are required throughout your travel journey, except when eating.
Arrive at the airport early. We recommend arriving 1.5 hours prior to departure for travel between islands, 2.5 hours prior to departure for domestic travel and 3.5 hours prior to departure for international travel.
We're ready for you. We've reinforced and enhanced cleaning procedures and modified in-flight services to promote physical distancing. Learn more about how we are keeping you safe.
